Lumpfish roe

Lumpfish roe is the most well known type of roe, and has the fresh scent of the sea. It has crispy and springy eggs with a perfect consistency that is why it gives a small explosion when bitten. 

Lumpfish roe is perfect as a supplement to egg, tuna, or as delicious topping on shellfish.

The lumpfish is caught in the cold waters around Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Greenland and Canada. After the roe is harvested, it is stored in barrels until processed.
